Overview

Buxfer is an online, shared version of Quicken targeted towards 20-somethings. In addition to tracking personal expenses, Buxfer allows you to track IOUs resulting from shared expenses. This is very useful for splitting rent bills, dinner checks, ski-trip expenses, and so on. You can use Buxfer from the web or using SMS from your cellphone! You can also import bank or credit card statements into Buxfer, and use the analysis tools to understand your expenses.
