Also, you're limited only by the speed of your Internet connection, and not by the capabilities of your computer hardware. The downsides of the idea are the security issues. I wouldn't save anything private or proprietary in a platform like this. The approach is innovative, but I'm afraid the speed of the system really does not make it competitive with local/remote desktops and could maybe be useful in emergency situations only. Although I can't see how, as all operating systems already have desktops...
